Levi {2 Weeks}

Seems like it should only be 2 days, bur our little Levi is already 2 weeks old!

He is truly such a happy and easy-going baby. And I am so thankful! He is beginning to stay awake more and more during the day...I love getting to see his little expressions!

He is also probably the best sleeper (so far) that I've had. He naps for 2-3 hours mid to late morning, then takes another long nap (3 hours or so) in the evenings. And he takes little cat naps here and there throughout the day as well. We try to wake him up by 7, give him a bath, lotion up, get on his jammies, and keep him awake until 9 or so. (This doesn't always happen.) I try to start his last feeding before bed around 9:00, then we swaddle him and put him to bed somewhere between 9:30 and 10:00. He will usually sleep until between 1 and 2 - I change him and nurse him and he usually goes right back to sleep. Then he gets up again to eat beween 4:30 and 5:00. Sometimes he goes back to sleep good after this feeding, but sometimes he just stays in the bed beside me and cluster feeds until we get up for the day.

He is still in newborn clothes, probably will be for a couple more weeks. He is wearing a size 1 diaper - he could still wear NB, but we ran out, so we are using the 1's that we already have.

I weighed him on the little baby scales I have at home, and they showed him weighing about 8 lb 13 oz. Im not really sure how accurate they are, but hopefully pretty close. I will probably take him in at one month just for a weight check.

Brent has been back at work for a week now, and we are adjusting great here at home. I really haven't seen any jealousy from the big boys...if anything they want to love on him a little too much :)

Even Tara and Eden came over yesterday afternoon to celebrate Levi's 2 weeks (and Eden's 8 weeks)!! We celebrated by going to get snow cones...haha!

While Levi and Beckett napped yesterday afternoon, Brody helped me wash, cook, and put up peas. He had the best time helping me wash them in the sink!

So thankful for sweet moments with my biggest boy!!

Happy 2 weeks Levi!! Now, stop growing so fast! :)
