After a yummy breakfast at Dunkin Donuts, we hopped in a taxi and rode over to Children's Grand Park! I had heard from some of our adoption friends that this was a fun place to bring the kiddos.
They had the best time getting to run and jump and play. We were there really early (about 9am), and we've learned that places around here don't really get hopping until closer to lunch, so we practically had the place to ourselves for a while!
How do you like that soap on a rope? I've seen this in many public restrooms...and I just can't do it. Thankful for hand sanitizer!
We walked through the Botanical Gardens...
And explored the zoo! Beckett wanted his picture made beside all of the "cool animals". :)
Brody man was excited to find a soccer field!!
We also went to this fun little animal show, Peter Pan! I highly recommend it if you come to Children's Grand Park. Our boys really enjoyed it.
Next up at the park was a fun water play area!!
After a fun morning at the park, we had our first experience shopping at Lotte Mart! This is the Korean equivalent to WalMart. ;)
Then later last night, we hopped on the subway and took the boys to Jamsil Stadium for a super fun Korean baseball game!!
All decked out in their new gear!!
This is a must-do!!! It was quite the experience! These fans get into their baseball like nothing I've ever seen. The game was good, but the real action is in the crowd and watching the cheerleaders, particularly the male cheerleader who leads crowd chants, songs, and dances. It is quite entertaining! Every player has a song and the crowd never seems to stop making noise!
