First Real Haircut

I took Brody for his first "real" haircut this morning. He did wonderful, and he loved the old ladies that were in the shop too. Here are a few pictures from our morning:

Brody has a girlfriend!

We had a small shower for my Aunt Jen who got married in Vegas a couple weeks ago, and there was a little girl there named Ansley who is Brody's age. They had a big time playing together until she tried to kiss him......he just looked at me like, "Please Mom, HELP." That's my boy!! By the way, I know you all are tired of looking at that green panda sweater. It's just one of my faves right now, and I know he will outgrow it before I know it, so I put it on him all the time. I promise, no more panda shirt pictures.

Time to get cabinet locks

To my surprise, Brody has been good about ignoring cabinets and drawars - until now. This is what I found when I walked in the office-to-be the other day. Thankfully they are still empty cabinets, so he had a ball crawling through them. I know I should have stopped him , but it was just too cute. (Bad mommy, bad.) Time to get the little child-proof locks!

Doctor Visit

I had to take Brody to the doctor last Friday due to a night of endless screaming. My first thought was "ears" so off we went. It all started the week before with a runny nose. I just thought he was getting a cold, then just as the nose started to dry up, he started running fever. Just as the fever was breaking the next day, I noticed a new tooth breaking through! So, I then concluded that his new pearly white was the culprit behind all of his ailments. Well, the next night was the night he woke up at 10:30pm screaming...not crying...SCREAMING. Nothing would calm him down. He screamed until threw up, then passed out, only to wake up a few hours later for a repeat. He was holding his ear, so I knew that must be the problem. So, we made a quick trip to Dr. Bevill's the next morning, where he confirmed my suspicions - ear infection #3! Yuck. So, we started the antibiotics that day thinking we were on the road to recovery, only to be knocked back down again the next night. He got a stomach bug! Only a touch of it, but still no fun. Boy, this mom stuff is no walk in the park. Now, I think we are headed in the right direction. Let's pray that I am right. I need to get this boy well! I included a couple pictures of him at the doctor. He looks like a little boy sitting on the table, not a baby, which makes me a little sad. And he loved the crinkly paper he was sitting on - couldn't keep his hands off of it!
