Baby Shower and Back to School

Brody had his first day back at preschool last Wednesday! And he is doing just wonderful. I am so proud of my little boy for adjusting back to the routine so easily. I haven't heard so much as a peep from him about going and staying all day. He is my little rock star! Here he right before we left on his first day. He was so excited!

I also had my first baby shower for Beckett this afternoon!! It was soooo nice. Tara and Amie hosted it (at Tara's mom's house) and everything was just perfect! They did an awesome job!!!!

I don't have any pics of the gifts yet, but everything was awesome. I got a little bit of everything, so it was just wonderful. And my church/sunday school shower is next weekend. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Here I am at almost 34 weeks - only 4-6 more weeks to go! And we are sooo not ready. I mean, we are more than ready to meet this little guy, and I am pretty much ready to not be pregnant anymore, but we have so much to do before he arrives. Hopefully, he will hold off until 38 weeks (this is when Brody came) to at least give us another month to get everything done. I am feeling ok. Getting more and more uncomfortable, especially in the evenings and at night. I don't remember feeling this way with Brody up until the last week or 2.

According to babycenter.com, Beckett should be between 4 1/2 and 5 lbs now. I can't wait to see what he looks like - will he have the head full of dark hair like Brody had? Will he be a good sleeper? Eater? We will find out soon!

We went out to eat pizza with the family tonight for my birthday. Had a wonderful time, as usual. It is always fun getting everyone together!

We caught him eating the icing strait off of the cake platter...lol. And yes, he was on a major sugar high tonight...it was hilarious to watch!

Bowling!

We took Brody bowling for the first time last weekend! He had so much fun...I think we are going to have to make it a regular thing. Ryan and Tara went were there with us, which made it even more special for Brody. He loves them to peices.

He even got his own little pair of bowling shoes! How cute is that?!
