Brody's Class Field Trip {The Aboretum}

Beckett, Levi, and I joined Brody's class for a field trip to the Arboretum this week. I just love this group of kids and his teacher is just the best. I sure am going to miss this preschool when Brody goes to Kindergarten next year!

This baby sure was happy to be along for the day!

And Beckett thinks he is just as big as Brody and his friends. They all just love for him to be around. He is like the class "little brother".

Warrior Dash 2012

Brent, and a large group of friends from church, ran the Warrior Dash in Amity last weekend! So fun! We left Brody and Beckett with Noni and brought Levi with us.

We had a yummy dinner at Cracker Barrel the night before! Brent and I are Cracker Barrel addicts. Thank goodness there's not one in El Do.

Shopping at WalMart the next morning for a few items Daddy had left at home. Happy boy.

We had to park in this HUGE field, then ride a school bus over the ranch where the race was held. There were ove 4,000 people racing. It was crazy. Levi playing with Doris on our bus ride over. Doris and Hawa are international students at SAU (from Kenya and Nigeria, I think) and they live with some friends of ours from church.

Headed to the race site!

I was so thankful for these two girls! They pretty much just took over with Levi, and I was able to really enjoy my time!
The cheering squad!

Brent, Adam, and Mark AFTER!

Our little Warrior in training :)

Hot Springs!

A few weeks ago, we took the two bigger boys to Hot Springs for a little overnight trip! They were really excited...mostly because they were getting to stay in a hotel.

So happy to be all checked in!

We walked to downtown Hot Springs and ate dinner at a little Mexican cafe. Then, after dinner on Friday night and again early Saturday morning, we let them swim in the hotel pool. They love to swim! It's going to be a fun summer!

I finally had to drag them out of the pool so that we could go eat breakfast. We had pancakes at Dough Boy's!

Then, the real treat of the weekend was meeting up with the Davis' at Magic Springs!!

Our crew :)
I was so proud of the boys for riding so many things! I wasn't sure how they would do, but they were so brave! Even Beckett was wanting to ride things he wasn't even tall enough for! Hopefully they will be my riding buddies since their Daddy isn't too crazy about rides.

We stayed at the park until it closed, then headed back home. Thank you God for a great weekend with friends!

My Wish For You

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
and each road leads you where you want to go,
and if you’re faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.

And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin’ ’til you find the window,
if it’s cold outside,
show the world the warmth of your smile,
more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big and your worries stay small,
you never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where your getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
 Yeah, this is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but you never forget
All the ones who love you and the place you live,
I hope you always forgive, and you never forget,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
I hope you find God's grace in every mistake,
And that you always give more than you take,

But more than anything, Yeah, more than anything,
My wish for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
 Yeah, this, is my wish.

Levi Hudson {Ten Months}

Levi, I can't believe you are TEN months old! What have you been up to?

You had to go to the doctor last week for ann upper respitatory infection and double ear infections, and you weighed 19.12 lbs. You hadn't been feeling well, and hadn't been eating like normal, so I bet you weigh about 20 lbs. You were 28.5 inches long. You are wearing 9 month and 12 month clothes, size 3 diaper, and size 3 shoe.

You take 8 oz bottles of Enfamil formula every three to four hours throughout the day, and you are pretty much completely on table food. You'll eat almost anything we eat! Your favorites are bananas, peaches, breakfast bars, pasta, carrots, sweet peas, potatoes, yogurt melts, little crunchies, and graham crackers...anything you can feed yourself! You also hold your own bottle with ease now. Very nice when you need a bottle in the car!

You are still sleeping pretty good...all night most nights. You go to bed around 8:30 (in your crib), and usually sleep until 6ish. I always bring you to our bed to give you a bottle, and sometimes you go back to sleep for a bit. Lately, you have occasionaly been waking up once during the night for a bit of a bottle, but you always go right back to sleep. And I think it's just because you haven't been feeling well.
You started crawling when you were eight months old, and you are everywhere now! You do this funny little crab crawl...I can't even explain it, but it's so cute! You are also pulling up on everything and starting to cruise around the furniture some. I think you are still a ways from walking, but you do more every week!
You say Mama, Dada, Bye, Bubba, and No! You love to clap for yourself. You also have a mighty big temper for a little bitty guy! If someone takes something from you that you aren't supposed to have, you know just how to throw a fiesty little fit! It's almost amusing to watch. Your brothers think it's pretty funny too.
But most of the time, you are your normal, happy, easy-going self! You love being outside. You love to take baths. You love riding in your stroller. And you love to be held!
You just fit perfectly into our little family, and we don't know what we ever did without you! Love you lots, dude! Happy 10 months!
