Levi {Five Months}

Levi, you are 5 months old! What have you been up to??

You weigh about 15 lbs, and are wearing 3-6 months and some 6-9 month clothes! I am getting ready to switch you to a size 3 diaper.

You mostly take formula now, but still nurse during the night and usually a couple times thoughout the day. I was really hoping we could have made it longer, but I've learned to not sweat the small stuff. I am thankful that you still nurse some, and I am hoping we can make it to 6 months before weaning you completely. You take Parent's Choice Gentle formula, 4-5 ounces about 4 times a day.

Sleep is about the same. Most of the time, you wake up once during the night. One day this week you slept from 10-8...and boy was I ever greatful! But the big news on the sleep front is that I moved you to your own room this month! I slept in the bed in your room for about a week, but now I have made the big move back to my room and all is well. You are getting so big!

You still have the whole congestion thing going on. I don't know if it's the weather changing back and forth so much, or allergies, or what...but we are all hoping it goes away quickly!

You can roll well both ways, and you are starting to sit up! You are still really wobbly, but are starting to sit for longer and longer periods every day. It won't be long, I bet!

I tried starting you on cereal, and we also tried squash, but you just don't really seem too interested. You spit out more than you swallow, and you seem satisfied without it, so I'm not pushing it.

You now love your jumparoo and exersaucer, but not your bouncy seat so much. But your favorite place to be is in my arms being carried around everywhere I go :)

You have the sweetest little smile, and everyone talks about how happy and sweet and easy you are! You, Mr. Levi, are loved more than you'll ever know!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween has come and gone, and it will be Thanksgiving before we know it, so I thought I'd better post these pictutes!

On Sunday night, before Halloween, we took the kids to trunk-or-treat at Union Baptist. I really enjoyed getting to just visit with everyone while the kiddos ran around and filled their buckets with candy. (Sorry, Brody had to tee-tee in the picture below...lol)

My adorable little lion!

I accidentally left Beckett's pumpkin at home, so he had to carry Levi's. Oops. He was Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba. Yes, I think the show is weird. But he loves it. And he was thrilled to get to get to dress up as Brobee.

Red Power Ranger! I had so many cute ideas for the boys this year. I wanted to dress the big boys as chefs and Levi as a lobster, or the big boys as football players and Levi as a football, or them as pirates and Levi a parrott. But, as you can see, Brody won that fight. He is a might cute power ranger though :)

Eden, our little strawberry!

On halloween night, we went trick-or-treating with Mom and Brooke. The kids loved it!!!!

Levi {Four Months}

Levi, you are four months old! What have you been up to?

At your 4 month check up last week, you weighed 14.1 lbs and were 24 1/4 inches long. You are wearing 3-6 month clothes and a size 2 diaper. You are getting so chubby and I love it!

You are still nursing, but are taking formula also. You alway nurse right before bed, during the night, first thing in the morning, and sometimes once or twice during the day. I am enjoying the freedom of being able to take formula along when we are out and about, but I'm so thankful that you are still breastfeeding some, too.

Your spit-up problem has all but disappeared. Yay!

You are still super laid back. You will fuss sometimes if you don't want to be put down or if you are sleepy, but you are really easy to comfort and never fuss for long.

Sleep is pretty hit or miss. You have had a stuffy nose lately, so you've been waking up some during the night. We all hope this ends soon. We had moved you from your cradle to the pack n play, but I've moved you back to the cradle the last few nights because it is elevated and seems to help your congestion some. You take 2 long naps a day. And sometimes another little catnap here or there.

You roll REALLY well from your back to your stomach. As soon as we lay you down on a blanket or your playmat, you roll over to your stomach and then cry until we roll you back over. You are a silly boy.

You smile all the time and laugh out loud when we tickle you. I love to hear you chuckle!

We are going to start you on some cereal this week, and I am curious as to how you will do. Will be posting pictures of that soon!

You found your feet and love to pull them to your mouth!

You have suddenly decided that you do not love your carseat. Not good.

Happy 4 months Levi Hudson!! We love you to the moon and back!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I am on vacation, so this is going to be a quicky version...here goes!

*I am loving my new Thirty-One bags!!! I have the utility tote and the insulated tote (both pictured below), and I have used them both so much! I have used the utility tote as a diaper bag, a toy bag for the car, and a storage bag for Levi's formula, water, bottles, etc while in Natchez a few weekends ago. And I use the insulated tote (I have the zebra fabric) regularly to keep Levi's bottles and Beckett's cups cool. Great bags!

* I am LOVING this chevron fabric!!! I hope to incorporate this into Brody and Beckett's room somehow when I redo it (hopefully!) soon.

*Definately loving Pinterest!! Right now I am using it to get inspiration for the their bedroom...sooo many cute ideas!!

* And I am loving the FALL FOLIAGE!!! We are in Eureka Springs right now, and it is BEAUTIFUL! The leaves are gorgeous, and all of the streets look like this...

Our first real Fall activity....

...was the Pumpkin Patch! We went last week with Brody's class. It was in the 40s that morning, so it was fun to dress up in our jackets and hats, and it actually felt like Fall! I took a group of boys in my van, and it was so fun listening to them talk and play back there. Beckett rode with us too, but we left Levi with MiMi at home.

This is Mason, Eli, Brody and Cooper
Love these boys!

Beckett was so cute sitting there with Brody and his class. He seriously doesn't realize he isn't as big as they are.

Brody wanted a vampire painted on his arm. I don't even think he knows what a vampire is... he just heard another student say that's what they were getting.

Playing on the tire swing!

Brody and Clarabeth on the hayride!

After the hayride, they were able to pick out their own pumpkin...

And they took them to a table to decorate :)

Playing on the playground

And last was the inflatable maze...they loved it!
