"He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11

Ryan and Brooke eating their spaghetti at Dad and Karen's.

Noni and Brooke gave Brody this little singing/dancing/clucking chicken for Easter. We thought he would love it, but it scares the bajeebies out of him for some reason. He pokes his little lip out and runs to bury his head in my lap everytime that chicken starts clucking. So, today, Brooke discovered that if she dances around and acts silly while the chicken is dancing, Brody LOVES it. Here she is breaking it down with the Easter Chicken
We went out to eat for Brent's Dad's (Poppy) birthday on Tuesday night at AppleBees. I was trying to get a picture of the 3 of them and this is the best I could come up with. I think it would be a really sweet picture with them looking at him, but what is that look on my childs face?? I would love to know what he was thinking here.....He looks a little scary in my opinion :)
Playing outside yesterday:

I love this pic of the two of them.....
Rather than ride in his little red roadster, he likes to push it now. Everywhere we go in the yard, he pushes that car. I am sure you can see it in nearly every picture of him outside. It is never far away......

The weather here is officially crazy. It has been warming up to the 80's during the day, but when I have to take Brody out in the mornings to meet Karen, it is like 40!! I just thought he looked silly as we were heading out the door, so I had to snap a picture. He has on his short sleeved PJs, with a jacket, hat, and fuzzy boots. But in his bag was a pair of shorts, a tshirt, and sandals........

He is so sweet when he sleeps. And he has started going to sleep on his own, without a bottle or anything! Makes me a little sad, b/c he is such a big boy now!
Brody loves to stand on the step while Brent takes his bath in the mornings. He plays with his ducks, splashes in the water, and practically soaks everything around him. (Sorry about the legs in this pic. I debated posting this one, but hey, they are just legs.)
Shaggy helping Brody down the big ship slide. He will actually do this all by himself, but it makes me so nervous I won't let him. I always make someone hold onto him, and he looks at me like, "Mom. This is embarrasing. I am 1 now - not a baby."
Now here is my silly boy. Brent was watching the Red/White Razorback game on TV today, and you can tell that this child is from Arkansas. Own his own now, he throws his hands in the air and says, "Whoooooooo". He never makes it to the Pig Sooie part, but hey, we are working on it. In the next 2 pics you can see his little lips doing the "Whoooo" part. Don't ya just wanna smooch them???

Brody's absolute favorite place to be is outside. He can have a hayday with a leaf and a rock. No toys required. So, on rainy dreary days like today, when we can't go out and play, this is where I find my boy quite often - daydreaming about all the fun he has in the great outdoors.
His most favotite toy in the world - A BALL!!!!!
Soccer player in the making!!
Paw and Brody - Monkey See Monkey Do

More yummy crayons!!

I just love his little grin in this pic. (Sorry about the hairy legs......)
The next couple are from a weekend trip to Hot Springs. I had a dental meeting there, and Mom and Brooke came with me so I wouldn't have to leave Brody. She stayed with them while I was at my meetings during the day.
