{Almost} 4 1/2

I conducted a little interview with Brody this week. I just though it would be fun to hear his little answers and always be able to look back and see what his thoughts were at 4 1/2. It was pretty funny.

So, here it is...Brody's 4 1/2 year old interview... (My thoughts in red.)




First, just a few questions about being 4


~What is yout favorite thing about being 4? I get to play soccer!


~What is something you can do now that you couldn't do when you were 3? I can play t-ball. (The boy obviously loves his sports...)



~What's the hardest part about being 4? Knocking a tree down. (??)


~What do 4 year olds like to eat? Hot Salsa (That's funny b/c he doesnt like anything even remotely hot...)

~ How did you grow so big? Because I had birthdays, Mommy. (He's very practical...lol)

~ What do 4 year olds play with? Soccer balls (Can you tell he's excited about getting to play soccer?)

~What do 4 year olds not play with? I don't like to play basketball. (Umm..yea right.)

~What will you be when you grow up? A soccer player.


~ When is a person a grown-up? When they have a lot of birthdays...like 67 or 68


~ What is your favorite game? Soccer


~ What is your favorite art activity? Cutting paper



~What is your favorite animal? Bears and tigers and lions. (Been watching too much Wizard of Oz??)

~If you could have any pet what would it be? A dog named Stace and a horse named Stacey. (Where did those names come from?!)

~What do 4 year olds think about? Horses!

~What is your favorite thing to wear? Cowboy clothes

~Is there anything else we should know about 4 year olds? We play soccer (Got it.)

Next, a few questions about money:

Do you like money? Yes! To get beyblades! (This new toy he is obsessed with.)

What do you like about money? Getting beyblades and soccer balls and everything else in the world.


How much money do you have? 68 dollars (Umm...no he doesn't.)


How much money is in the world? A lot


How do you get money? From Daddy and work

Oh, where do you work? At school

What is a bank? Where you get money and stuff


What would you do if you had $100? Buy a carousel!!


How much money would you like to have? 68 dollars (Looks like you're doing alright then, son.)


Finally, a few questions about Daddy:

What is something that Daddy always says to you? Be Good

What makes Daddy happy? When you do stuff for him. (Ha!)

What does not make Daddy happy? When you don't listen. (So he HAS been listening!)

What does Daddy do to make you laugh? Do silly things

How old is Daddy? 7.....58

How tall is Daddy? Very tall! (LOL)

What is Daddy's favorite thing to watch on TV? Baseball (Yep)

What does Daddy when you are not around? Goes to work.

What is Daddy good at? Running

What is Daddy not good at? Baseball (Hehe)


What does Daddy do at work? He does money

What is Daddy's favorite food? I don't know


What makes you proud of Daddy? When he waters the plants for me. (LOL. Brody has only been asked to do this maybe 2 times.)


If your Daddy were a cartoon charachter, who would he be? Somebody really fast...Superman!


What do you and your daddy like to do together? Water the flowers


How are you and Daddy alike? We're not



How are you and Daddy the same? We grow different


How do you know Daddy loves you? He bought me beyblades!! (Okay, so maybe he is a little materialistic at 4 1/2.)
What does Daddy like about Mommy? Ew, I don't know! (Thanks, son.)

Where is Daddy's favorite place to go? Work (That may be true with three kids in the house!)


The End. I had so much fun doing these little interviews with him. I can't wait to do it every year and see how his answers change!
